New Athletic Hub at DCG High School
Completed in early 2024, DCG High School opened its Mustang Athletic Performance Center as Phase 1 of a multi-phase renovation. This facility brings together a high-capacity weight room, auxiliary gymnasium, and modern athletic classrooms—serving around 600 students annually.
Cutting-Edge Weight Room
The performance center features one of the Midwest’s most advanced high school strength training facilities:
- 24 weight racks and training bridges, allowing multiple students to train simultaneously.
- Individual iPads or monitors at each station, enabling goal tracking, progress monitoring, and digital performance integration.
According to Coach Jake Lewis, the space is “completely game-changing” and “one of the best in the state, if not the Midwest.”
