Minot High School Campus & Fitness Infrastructure

In 2021, Minot voters approved a major bond referendum to realign grade structures and upgrade facilities, leading to the construction of two full 9–12 high schools and associated athletic facilities, including an Olympic-sized 50 meter pool, stadium amenities, theatre, and an additional gymnasium.

The new Minot North High School features multiple large athletic spaces meant to serve physical education, athletics, and programming needs.

Student Fitness Access & Design

  • The campus includes multiple gymnasiums, turf athletic complexes, and support spaces appropriate for PE and athletics.
  • These spaces—combined with the integrated athletic complex and the auxiliary gym—offer scale and flexibility for structured fitness, team training, and movement-based physical education programming for students.

Physical Education & Athletic Applications

  • PE classes, sports teams, and extracurricular wellness activities are likely hosted across the school’s multi-gym layout, turf field adjacency, and locker room-connected spaces, offering:
  • space for strength and conditioning circuits
  • movement-based fitness routines
  • group exercises and athletic training labs

The infrastructure supports both general student wellness and high school athletic training within a modern, centralized environment
